Color Blocked Neon Stripes
Hey guys, what's up? Today I have some neon color blocked nails to share. Is color blocking still in? Probably not, but oh well, I'll still rock it.
For these nails I started with a base coat of white. I used two coats of Essie Blanc. Then, with a striper brush, I used some black acrylic paint to do the black stripes on all of my nails. After I did the black stripes I went in and added the gray stripes to all of my nails using Zoya Dove and China Glaze Recycle. I let all of that dry for about a minute and I added my neon stripes using Sinful Colors Neon Melon.
I wasn't really going for a pattern here, I just went with what I thought looked nice and tried not to put two of the same color next to each other. Next time I do this I'll probably add more, skinnier, black stripes.
Like always, I finished this off with one coat of Seche Vite.

Quick! Guess the color!
If you guessed China Glaze Flip Flop Fantasy, you were right! This super bright neon coral is one of my favorite colors for summer. Scratch that, this is one of my favorite polish colors period.
I used two coats of this and one coat of Seche because neons dry matte.
I'm surprised that my camera was able to capture the color so well after it completely freaked out while taking the fist couple of pictures like the one below.

4th of July Nails!
Hey guys! Happy (almost) 4th of July! These are the nails I'll be wearing tomorrow.
The colors I used for these nails were Essie Blanc, Ciaté Power Dressing, and OPI Red Hot Gift. I used a stiper brush and OPI Red Hot Gift for the stripes on the accent nail, I would've used tape for nicer lines, but me and tape just don't work very well together. I freehanded the little star inside the halfmoon with some white acrylic paint and a small striper brush.
I did wait a while to put top coat on these because I didn't want the red and white to smear, but this caused the blue to bubble really bad. Oh well.
